Attaching The Forks

Next on the list of things to do is attach the forks to the frame. One of the things I did was drill a hole in the neck of the frame and thread in a zert connector. I don’t know if that really was needed, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt and hey; the zert fitting was cheap.

Next up on our list of tasks is to install the bearings and then attach the triple trees to the neck. We will grease the bearings during the final assembly. What we are doing now is building what is called “A Rolling Chassis.”
